Installing your borehole water supply and ensuring flow rates consistently meet your home requirements is a major part of WD & AD Morgan’s commitment to its customers – but it does not end there.
Depending on your location, a common problem can be found with water hardness resulting in deposits of calcium or lime scale on hot water cylinders, kettles, washing machines, dishwashers, showers, taps – which shortens the life of such equipment, while extending cleaning work.
A water softener that works in tandem with the borehole pump will ensure your home appliances remain clean and deposit-free. You save on cleaning agents, labour and replacement costs, the softener running costs are small compared with the savings made, while the quality of your water is improved.
WD & AD Morgan will test your water for its pH levels. Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline. Pure water has a pH very close to 7.
Just like air and food, drinking water is not sterile – nor does it need to be. It should, however, be free from pathogens which are microorganisms capable of causing disease.
An ultra violet light filtering system destroys bacteria naturally – it’s a natural part of sunlight – and has the unique ability to destroy microorganisms that can cause infection or illness.
Ultraviolet systems do not affect the taste, odour or clarity of the water supply and require less energy than a typical household light bulb while ensuring the entire water flow to your home is safe.
An increasing number of clients use Reverse Osmosis to ensure purity of their water supply. What may seem a complex system is really a simple and straightforward water filtration process, in which dissolved impurities are removed from water. Your household water pressure pushes the water through a semi permeable membrane, about as thick as a strip of cellophane, which allows only the water to pass through, not the impurities or contaminates.
WD & AD Morgan recommend at least an annual analysis of water quality, and have many years’ experience of installing filtration, purification and monitoring systems , while holding a wide range of spare and replacement parts and controls.
